Floods Cause Travel Chaos’...will my Travel Insurance Policy cover me?

Floods and delays on the roads, and at airports, have caused misery and chaos for thousands of holiday makers getting away for the first week of the school summer holidays. So are you covered if you take out a travel insurance policy?

Under most travel insurance policies, insurers will respond to claims for Delay and Abandonment as well as Missed Departure.
